1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern all transactions made on the website www.handberber.com between:
- HandBerber, hereinafter referred to as "the Seller";
- And any individual or legal entity making a purchase via the website, hereinafter referred to as "the Customer".
2. Products
The items offered are authentic Berber rugs.
As each piece is handmade, slight differences in dimensions, shades or patterns may exist. These variations reflect the unique and artisanal character of the products.
3. Prices
Prices are quoted in euros, inclusive of all taxes (including VAT), excluding delivery costs.
HandBerber reserves the right to adjust its prices at any time. However, products are invoiced at the price in effect at the time of order validation.
4. Order validation
Any order is considered final after acceptance of these Terms and Conditions by the Customer.
Validation implies acceptance of the prices, delivery times and product characteristics.
A confirmation email is sent to the Customer once the order is registered.
5. Payment methods
Full payment is required at the time of the order.
Accepted payment methods include: credit card, PayPal, and any secure solution offered on the website.
Product shipment is subject to payment validation.
6. Payment default
In the event of total or partial non-payment by the due date, penalties will be automatically applied, without the need for prior formal notice:
- Late payment interest calculated at the prevailing legal rate, from the day after the due date
- A fixed indemnity of €40 for recovery costs (applicable to professionals, in accordance with Article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code)
In the event of prolonged payment default, HandBerber reserves the right to:
- Suspend or cancel any pending order
- Terminate the sale
- Retain any amounts already paid as compensation
7. Delivery
Orders are shipped to the address provided by the Customer at the time of purchase.
- Areas served: Metropolitan France and Europe (other destinations on request)
- Estimated times: 5 business days for France, 10 business days for Europe
- Shipping costs: calculated and displayed before order validation
HandBerber cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to carriers or customs formalities.
8. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with applicable legislation, the Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of their order to exercise their right of withdrawal, without justification.
Personalised or custom-made products (specific dimensions, patterns or colours) cannot be returned or exchanged.
9. Returns and refunds
Items must be returned in their original condition, complete and unused.
Return shipping costs are borne by the Customer, except in the event of an error attributable to the Seller.
The refund will be processed within 48 hours after receipt and verification of the returned product.
10. Legal guarantees
Products benefit from:
- The legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L.217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code)
- The guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code)
As each rug is a unique artisanal piece, slight variations in dimensions may exist and contribute to its authenticity.
11. Liability
HandBerber cannot be held liable for indirect damages related to the use of the website or products sold.
12. Personal data
The information collected is used solely for order processing and customer relationship management.

13. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be preferred. Failing agreement, the competent courts shall be those of the jurisdiction of the Seller's registered office.
